Divinely Decadent Desserts was born out of a love for baking.  Carlynn Fuller began baking at an early age and developed a love for baking for family and friends.  Over the last year these same family, friends and even co-workers began to encourage her to "open a bakery." 

 

In late August 2009, in a casual conversation, Carlynn asked her now business partner to look for a space to open a bakery.  Two weeks later on September 14, 2009, the business partner called her and told her that he had found a space for her bakery.  Carlynn began to pray and ask God if this was what He really wanted for her to do and if so, then it was up to Him to make it happen.  God answered her prayer and "Divinely Decadent Desserts" was born.

 

The name "Divinely Decadent Desserts" was chosen to represent the role of God in Carlynn's life, in her baking and in bringing the bakery to fruition.  The bakery and the baked goods are God inspired.  The taste of the desserts is "decadent" meaning self-indulgent, and everyone should be a little self-indulgent from time-to-time.
